Book Event Preparation Underway!

What does it take to prepare for a book event? Oh, just a smidge more than booking a venue—because that’s a breeze, right? Today, besides blogging my heart out for you all, I've been busy updating QR Codes and marketing materials, checking inventory, and ordering more stuff. I've devised a marketing plan that would even make a seasoned marketer break a sweat. I'm making index-sized cards with book covers and QR Codes that zap you straight to the landing page to sign up for newsletters, or whisk you away to the book on Kindle. Who needs teleportation when you have QR Codes? We'll see how that goes. I've expanded my payment options to include Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, and I'm even trying to charm Apple Pay into joining the party. Believe it or not, I'm more interested in engagement than sales. Yep, I'm trying to build a readership base for my upcoming WIP. Whew... and I'm also knee-deep in writing the next Adrianne Summer Novel masterpiece. But hey, who needs a real job when you have all this fun?
