Barbary Coast

If you've been following me, you know I have been struggling with my current WIP, a fantasy romance. I have decided to set it aside and pick up another WIP, a #historicalromance #HistoricalFiction. I like to challenge myself as a writer and believe I can write fantasy, but my heart is for historical romance. I write strong Black female protagonists in interethnic relationships. Finding periods in history where that works is difficult, which makes my writing unique. So... if you're looking for me... I will be on the Barbary Coast circa 1600!
